to learn how to listen to music, move to music and make music, through exploration, demonstration and play!

Class Blog

January/February

Through January and February the PreK class learned about the letter N where we sang songs about Names and Night time, the letter P for Pirates and the letter V for Volcanoes. We also did a week on Outer space where we learned about the planets, did special valentines day songs, and even did a sing-along class with a Substitute where we learned about music through the old PBS show "Lomax, the Hound of Music"

For the months of November and December the Pre-K class will be learning music for the Christmas Program! We are learning the songs "Up On the Housetop", "Rocking", "What's in the Stocking", and a dance to the song "Trepak" from The Nutcracker!
